The waterproofing is done, stairs are in and cabinetry has arrived

There has been no progress to the exterior of the house for several weeks.  Metricon have had difficulty sourcing a bricklayer in the aftermath of the rain delays we experienced.  The bricks themselves arrived onsite at least 3 weeks ago, but no one has been available to do the job.  Metricon assure me that this has not delayed the progress on the interior, and the exterior will catch up over the next week or so.

There was more progress over the last couple of days, the cabinetry has arrived on site (yet to be installed).  The bathrooms have been waterproofed. The most exciting part, the stairs are in!

The staircase - this is Metricon's standard staircase (could not justify the cost of anything fancy).  It will have carpet and be painted eventually.  There will be a door underneath the stairs for some extra storage space too.  The entry is really nice and wide even with the stairs, so I am really pleased with the space.

The laundry cabinetry has arrived

The upstairs linen cupboard has shelving.

The master bedroom ensuite waterproofed

The kitchen cabinetry has arrived (and Mason is really happy about it)

Here is a picture of the pesto linea laminex cabinetry that will be going into the kitchen, butler's pantry and bathrooms.  I actually love it more now that I have seen it up close.
