Progress on interior and exterior - ready for painting!

We have had lots of progress over the last month - on both the interior and exterior.  Perhaps the new site manager is better than the old one.  (Side note: we found out about our site manager when the phone number for our old site manager was no longer connected...)

We have also made a lot of decisions for post-handover (cannot believe I just used the term 'handover' right now) including the pool, blinds, security screens/doors and the fit-outs of the butler's pantry and dressing room.  I have also been shopping for a lot of furniture I cannot afford and have nowhere to store until we are living in the house (but it doesn't hurt to look right?!)

The exterior of the house has the brickwork finalised...

And then the weatherboard went on the second story, and was painted (Surfmist).  The eaves have also been installed and painted. Cannot wait for that Tamed Texan render to go on.

As the garage is sunken, and the downstairs ceilings are also raised, so the garage ceiling ended up very (very) tall...

The staircase and entry hall.  The cupboard under the stairs has now been built in. All the tiles have been covered in plastic to protect it from the painting (which is also about to start - hooray!)

The downstairs bathroom and laundry

The kitchen and butler's pantry, which I did manage to get some pictures of before the plastic film went down.  I am still not sure whether to get cupboard or shelves (or nothing) installed on either side of the rangehood...hmmm

The upstairs living area and bedrooms

The main upstairs bathroom and toilet. The tiles look great, and I also love the colour selections as well as the money spent on the smart tiles. They look... smart.

The master bedroom and dressing room

Our little helper...
